"Mads Magpie" Character Design

Design created as part of my comic strip project for a cartooning class I took at College of DuPage. The rest of the project, including the comic strips and other materials, can be found in the "Fletcher Fennec, Ace Detective" project in my Comic Work folder.

Mads Magpie is a rough and tumble bird toon. She befriends Fletcher under the guise of being a fellow true crime fan that wants to help their investigation. In actuality, she is the leader of the very gang that committed the big bank heist. Her goal is to find out how much Fletcher knows and steer them in the wrong direction, as they are much closer to solving the case than the actual authorities are.
